About Us

Founded in 1934, The Hershey Community Chorus has served the greater Hershey Community with pride for over 90 years! The Chorus continues to provide music to the Hershey community and offers an opportunity for people to come together and be part of a non-audition music group.

Members of the Hershey Community Chorus hail from not only Hershey itself, but from the surrounding area making this truly a community effort.  Middletown, Harrisburg, New Cumberland, Landisville, Elizabethtown, Palmyra, Columbia, Hummelstown, Camp Hill, Mt. Wolf, Lititz and Lebanon are all represented by the 85 members who performed at the Christmas 2025 concert.

If you sing with your church choir, enjoy singing independently or with a group and are looking for the opportunity to join like-minded folks in a low-pressure setting, please consider joining this highly regarded ensemble.

We rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hershey Free Church, 330 Hilltop Road, Hummelstown.

The chorus performs two concerts a year: a Holiday concert in December and a Spring concert in May. Please see our Concerts page for details on our next concert.

In addition, the Chorus sings at local events and venues. Past venues/events have included holiday tree lighting ceremonies in Palmyra and Hershey as well as Harrisburg Senator baseball games.

When attending one of the Choruses’ performances, you will always find a variety of music styles from classical to popular, often with instrumental accompaniment!
