Fundraisers

As with any organization, there are inherent expenses that must be met. The rehearsal space must be rented and some concert venues must be reserved. Music must be purchased and royalties paid for performances. Concert folders and accessories are provided for each performer. The director and accompanist receive annual stipends.  These all add up and concert patrons purchasing tickets only covers a fraction of the total expenses.

Twice a year, the Hershey Community Chorus provides a spaghetti dinner as a fundraiser. We rely on grants and gifts for the balance of the yearly budget.

Spaghetti Dinner

Twice a year,our members cook and serve a dinner of spaghetti and meatballs, salad, and a dinner roll for take out or dine in service. Desserts are available by donation. Tickets for take out or dine in service can be purchased in advance or at the door. Pre-orders are guaranteed a meal. Walk-ins are welcome while supplies last. Quarts of sauce are available for purchase – pre-order only.
