December 2025 – A Caroling Party

The Christmas Holiday Concert is entitled “A Caroling Party” and will feature favorite holiday musical selections such as “God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen”, “The Holy and the Ivy”, “On Christmas Night” and “The Coventry Carol”, plus several which may be less familiar, such as “Jesus Child”, “Night of Silence” and “The Gift Carol” to name a few. This wide variety of carols is sure to strike a chord with everyone across all generations.
May 2025 – I Hear America Singing

Our spring season continued celebration of our 90th birthday by jumping into how choral music has been shaped here in America by choral groups such as ours. Look for a heavy dose of American composers and lyricist, a big surge of patriotic music, and a look at some of the forces that helped to define what we know as American choral music. I’m especially excited about the two Randall Thompson pieces we are doing. They are as beautiful as they are inspiring. There is music to move you and to challenge you. There is music that you can just really enjoy. It should be a great season of singing.
December 2024 – Cheers to 90 Years!

Founded in 1934, The Hershey Community Chorus has served the greater Hershey Community with pride for the last 90 years. It is with great expectation and anticipation that we embark on this celebratory year.
With the theme of Cheers to 90 Years!, the Christmas Holiday Concert will feature holiday musical selections connected to the 1934-1935 years in some way, such as composers or performers who were born or passed that year, works released, concerts presented, founding of groups, to name a few. Many recognized titles and works will be included, sure to garner approval from concert goers of all ages.
May 2024 – Broadway Bash

This Spring season’s concert celebrates some of the music from Broadway shows both old and new. The centerpiece of the concert is a larger medley of music from one of the longest running shows of all time, “Les Miserables.” I think it will be a great tour of both some familiar and unfamiliar pieces for our audience members. With this concert, we will finally have performed all the music that was programmed for the concert that was cancelled during the COVID 19 pandemic.
December 2023 – Christmas Songs from Near and Far

This season is going to give us a chance to experience some carols and Christmas songs that are a bit off the beaten path. Many of them have roots in other cultures, where the musical influences will be obvious and infectious. Some will be quite familiar, but you’ll find that the arrangements give us a fresh take on some well-known songs.”
May 2023 – We Built This City

We took a musical journey across the state of Pennsylvania for our May 2023 concert.
The music is chosen to reflect some historical aspect of the major cities of Pennyslvania. Consider it a bit like a travelog with music. Through it, we’ll hit all sorts of topics
and styles as we consider the roots of all things Pennsylvania. You might even come upon a desire to travel or to learn a bit of history as we go.
December 2022 – Glory

We celebrated the Glory of Christmas with two concerts in December 2022.
